The Unfold Suspension Lamp was designed by the Form Us With Love studio for the brand Muuto.Form Us With Love is a multinational team created in 2005. Since then, the Sweden-based studio has followed sustainable principles, redefined classic forms, and won numerous major awards. It has also partnered with the Danish label Muuto to create Unfold, a pendant lamp which uses materials imaginatively to conjure up a totally new style of interior lighting.The key innovation in the Unfold Suspension Lampis the use of vulcanised rubber to form the rounded diffuser. This soft material can be packed away easily, cleaned when required, and has a beautiful appearance, resembling matt painted ceramics. It also keeps the weight down to 2kg - making it easy to maintain and install the lamps. The lamp itself is designed to be suspended from the ceiling via an adaptable 350cm cable, while the unfolded diffuser measures 29.5 x 32.5 cm. It uses an E27/60W bulb, which casts light downwards, making the Unfold Suspension Lamp particularly well-suited to dining settings. With its ceramic-like finish and gracefully curved diffuser, it will add a natural touch to interiors of all types.
